2024 Adelante Mujer Conference

Join La Colonia Community Foundation for the empowering "Adelante Mujer" conference! Happening on Saturday, April 6th, from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm, at the La Colonia Community Center in Solana Beach, CA. This dynamic event features workshops tailored for both adult women and middle/high school teen girls.

For adults, we will have non-certified "CPR/First Aid" training, presented by the American Medical Response Agency; and explore "Women's Health and Wellness" with Dr. Beatriz Villarreal from the Mano a Mano Foundation. These sessions will be conducted in Spanish, ensuring accessibility and engagement.

Teen girls will engage in English workshops, including "We are First Generation" led by MiraCosta College Ambassador students, and "Connection and Self Love" facilitated by Veronica Lopez, Bilingual Education Prevention Specialist.
